The Avatar® Home & Office combines an iOS device (iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch*) with a highly-mobile robotic base that you can control locally through Wi-Fi or remotely through the internet. Unlike a traditional home security system, the Avatar® Home & Office provides you with a mobile set of eyes and ears that you can use to actively monitor an area. With the Internet-enabled models, you can leave the robot where you need it – at home while you’re at work or on vacation, in the office while you’re on a business trip – and just dial in and control the robot from an internet-enabled smartphone, laptop, or tablet, anywhere in the world.

We have several purchasing options available depending on your unique circumstances and needs.
Purchase Options*:
1) Base Robot: $499 – Includes Robot, SDK (Software Development Kit), and HDK (Hardware Development Kit). Allows for local control of robot with an iOS device within a single Wi-Fi network.
Good for: People who want to hack, program, and develop for the Avatar Home & Office platform, as well as people who want to drive their unit locally and do not need remote internet control.
2) Internet Enabled Robot: $699 – Includes Robot and UNLIMITED remote driving through the internet (as well as local driving). Only one driver at a time is enabled on this unit, and audio/video recording is disabled. (Upgradeable at any time to include unlimited multi-user control and 6000 minutes of cloud-based audio and video recording through a $9 month-to-month subscription).
Good for: People who want to take advantage of the full potential of their Avatar H&O – including internet driving, group control, and cloud-based video/audio recording – but do not want to sign a service contract.
3) Deluxe Internet Enabled Robot: $999 – Includes Robot, UNLIMITED remote driving through the internet, as well as group control and 6000 minutes of audio/video recording for as long as you own the unit. No additional payments necessary,.
Good for: People who want to take advantage of the full potential of their Avatar H&O – including internet driving, group control, and cloud-based video/audio recording- from the get go, and don’t want to have any additional future payments.
*Add stair climbing flippers to any model above for an extra $200.
